Stephen Boykewich is a writer, journalist, and media strategist who has worked on four continents for media outlets including Agence France Presse, The Financial Times, The Moscow Times, the BBC, the CBC, and Pakistani Television. He is also Principal of Prescient Media, a web design and media strategy shop.
Stephen was a Moscow-based correspondent from 2004-2007, covering the Kremlin, energy politics, youth movements, political unrest in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, and Russian Islam.
As a communications professional, Stephen has served as a media director and consultant for social justice organizations including the New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice, the Indian Worker Congress, and Isaiah. He is currently a communications associate at the International Center for Transitional Justice.
Born and raised in Rutherford, NJ, Stephen holds a BA from the University of Chicago and an MFA from the University of Virginia. He lives in New York City.
